The front desk staff were not as responsive as the bellmen staff either. It was very difficult to hear the front desk staff, as they explained the hotel and it's fees. Of course, that put it in the middle of the smoke-filled, very noisy casino. We finally asked the "baggage desk" and they told us the desk was right around the corner. ![]() The exterior signs point one to "registration" - then inside the doors there is NO indication where to go. Secondly, the layout for this casino hotel is really bad. Especially when a) the only thing used from the list of amenities was the wi-fi, and $15/day for wi-fi is higher than even in Europe b) we were offered "special food coupons" to make up for the fee, which were never provided or discussed by the staff. Especially since the only competition I was looking at for this hotel were a La Quinta and an Econolodge, which clearly couldn't compete. ![]() Ok, so first, the rant: Being hit with a "mandatory resort charge" *after* booking is really infuriating.
